"If I don't belong to any shape, I can exist comfortably and freely."
She excels at using "fictional characters" as embodiments of the widespread anxiety and pressure in contemporary society. These characters are not specific individuals but represent the sense of imbalance people perceive under omnipresent scrutiny. The artist chooses "soft ceramic figures" as the material medium for these characters, their fragility and hollowness echoing the internal resistance to the mutual scrutiny of identities.

In this era of inescapable observation, by whose gaze are we truly shaped? And how can we find a space that is neither defined nor erased amidst countless stares?
"If I don't belong to any particular shape, I can exist comfortably and freely."
All Eyes On Me is not simply about depicting a specific character or a personal history; rather, it is an action of withdrawing, transforming, and re-enacting from the act of being watched. The artist chooses not to use herself as the narrative subject. Instead, through fictional characters, soft ceramic figures, and severed pupils, she constructs a detached perspective—one that is neither entirely "me" nor entirely "the other." This constantly shifting narrative strategy is both a resistance to labeling and social role projection, and a form of psychological self-preservation for the creator herself when facing classification and exclusion in reality.
"The struggle of powerless characters appears so feeble and ineffective in the eyes of others. Tragedy becomes comedy for the indifferent, yet it is strikingly ostentatious."
Weakness, here, is not a derogatory term. The seemingly powerless, distorted, or fragmented characters in the works are a gentle counterattack against contemporary values of "usefulness" and "dominance." In this context, crying is no longer a sign of weakness but a voice of resistance translated from primal instincts. Using ceramic figures as a medium, the artist seeks to recover the lost voices of the weak, exploring a latent language of resistance through them: not fierce, but struggling, enduring, gazing, and subverting identity.

The exhibition title, "All Eyes On Me" (《眼裡出逃》), reveals the core idea behind the creation: an escape from the gazes that force us into fixed definitions, and simultaneously a breakout from the indifference that segregates groups. It reinterprets the original positive and glorious meaning of "All Eyes On Me" to encapsulate the reality the artistic form intends to convey. Appearing in soft, transient, and uncertain postures, the artist redefines "weakness" as the origin of strength, and as the driving energy for counterbalancing unequal stances. This allows us to see previously misunderstood aspects of ourselves within these powerless and imbalanced images.
This exhibition invites viewers not merely to observe the artworks, but to co-exist and co-vocalize with these characters. Those pupils, no longer directly meeting our gaze, instead become a profound observation of the society we inhabit.
