CHUNG Chia-Chun (Taiwan)

Born in Taiwan in 1992, Chung Chia-Chun graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Tunghai University.

His practice primarily employs two media—charcoal and acrylic paint—to reflect the transformations of his physical and mental states during the creative process. The use of charcoal emphasizes the painterly qualities of self-awareness and instinctive experience, while acrylic paint represents structured rules, including mixing, measuring, and the use of tape to define boundaries. Together, these materials symbolize Chung’s exploration of individual existence and social relationships.

In 2020, he received the Kaohsiung Award organized by the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. His works have been exhibited in cities including Taipei, Tainan, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Yilan, and Taitung (Taiwan), as well as Beijing (China), Beirut (Lebanon), and Paris (France).

Carsten Goering (德國)

Carsten Goering (Germany)

With media art practicing as a background, Carsten Goering has developed a painting approach that is closely related to digital image generation. He often uses pure tones in his works, experimenting with various materials and layering techniques. Through the interplay of colors and textures, he transforms the pixel grids of media into a tangible presence. Transforming flat into three-dimensional presence, the still into lively, encouraging viewers to think about the deep relationship of images and colors, and find a connection between paintings and their presence in that time-space.

Vasilis Avramidis (希臘)

Vasilis Avramidis ( Greece )

Born in Greece in 1981, Vasilis is a contemporary artist who primarily works in oil painting. He is best known for his “impossible landscapes”—scenes that exist between reality and imagination, often marked by traces of architecture or its fragments, creating an atmosphere that feels at once familiar and strange. His paintings often convey a sense of “frozen theatricality,” like a stage awaiting the unfolding of a story—poetic yet tinged with unease. This distinctive atmosphere has brought his work significant attention in the international art world.

Vasilis’s works are held in numerous private collections across the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Greece, the Netherlands, Australia, and Cyprus. In addition, his works are part of the collections of the University of the Arts London and In4Art in Rotterdam.

Christine Gisla (冰島)

Christine Gisla

Christine Gisla ( Ísland )

Christine Gisla is a photographic artist from Iceland who works primarily with photography as her medium. Her practice centers on themes of life, silence, fleeting moments of perception, and Icelandic folklore, delicately exploring the nuances of her surrounding environment. She often contemplates presences that are no longer with us and the radiance they leave behind, seeking to capture that ephemeral brilliance through her lens.

Her works excel in rendering the flow of light and the suspension of time, creating an atmosphere that is both tranquil and mysterious. This invites viewers to wander freely within the image, immersed in their own thoughts and emotions. Embedded within her photographs are traces of her personal life story, interwoven with the unique light, beauty, serenity, and healing power she experiences in Icelandic nature—together forming the soul of her art.
